A gem in the old town

An eighteenth-century house in the heart of Bari Sardo, right beside the church. We restored it ourselves, trying to keep the character of the house and the details of Sardinian tradition while adding everything needed to live in it comfortably today. Step out of the front door and you are in the middle of the village, among lanes that tell their own stories, small shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

The interiors tell the history of the house: thick walls, traditional materials and small, gathered rooms live alongside a fitted kitchen, a sitting room with a sofa bed and a double bedroom with its own bathroom on the first floor. There are two bathrooms, one per floor, a rare comfort in a house this size. Air conditioning on both floors, Wi- Fi and a washing machine complete the space.

Outside there is a small private garden with an outdoor shower and a small service bathroom, a simple place to eat in the open air or to sit in the evening after a day by the sea. The private parking is a precious detail for a house this central.

Here you do not need the car to enjoy the village: the bakery, the market, the shops, the bars and the restaurants are all a few steps away. The church is right next door and the bell tower is part of the everyday view from the house. The sea and the beaches of the coast are a few minutes' drive away.

This is a home for those looking for something different from the usual holiday flat: a place with a history, carefully restored and still tied to the village and its past. You sleep in the old town, you walk out in the evening and come home through the streets of Bari Sardo. A small old house to enjoy with the comforts of today.
